The Center for Fitness and Health Hosted GRC Networking Event
A breakfast networking event was held at The Center for Fitness and Health, Willow Pointe Plaza, Belle Vernon on Monday, April 20th. GRC members attended the morning event where they had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the programs and services offered at the complex.
The Center for Fitness and Health features more than 40,000 square feet of space, and offers the most advanced fitness equipment. In addition, the complex features a cushioned indoor walking/running track, heated lap and therapy pools, a whirlpool, sauna and massage therapy. Classes offered include Spinning – Indoor cycling, Step Aerobics, Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga. The Center also offers medically supervised programs which include Pre/Post Natal, Osteoporosis, Physical Therapy, Diabetes Education, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Stress and Weight Management. Other amenities include locker rooms, towel service, hair dryers, and babysitting service.
The Center for Fitness and Health also provides a Corporate Wellness Program for area businesses. The program, designed specifically to suit your needs will accommodate a small business with two or three employees to large business with over 100 employees. A few benefits of a Corporate Wellness Program include reduced absenteeism and reduced health insurance costs, for the business owner and employees. In addition to the state-of-the-art fitness facility at the Mon Valley Health Plex, three meeting conference rooms are available for rent. Audio/visual equipment is available, and one of the meeting spaces includes a small kitchenette for serving breakfast or lunch.
