Why GRC?
Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce members are concerned about enhancing and advancing the economic, cultural and civic welfare of our region. Our region includes Rostraver Township, Belle Vernon, North Belle Vernon, Forward Township, Elizabeth Township, Smithton, Perryopolis, Washington Township, West Newton, and the surrounding municipalities in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland Counties.

- The GRC Business of the Month program
Each month a member of the GRC is chosen to become the GRC Business of the Month. The business receives recognition with a sign that is displayed prominently in their place of business. A publicity article, along with a photo is featured in the monthly newsletter, The Valley Independent, Times Sun and soon, the Chamber website. - Listing on the GRC website
Members will be listed with a link to your company’s website. Sponsorship and advertising opportunities will be available as well. - Monthly newsletter, Chamber Chatter and The Valley Independent GRC Supplement
These publications keep members informed of activities and events of the GRC and its members. Event listings, press releases, member news, and additions of new members are included. - Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies
The GRC welcomes new businesses with free ribbon cutting ceremonies. A photo and publicity article is featured in the newsletter, The Valley Independent and Times Sun and soon, Chamber website. - Membership Directory
A directory will be printed and distributed in the first quarter of 2009 to all GRC members, listing each member and their business services. - Monthly Membership Meetings
The GRC holds monthly membership meetings on the 4th Tuesday of every month, with the exception of December. Members have the opportunity to present a “30 second commercial” about their product or service. An informational speaker is provided at each meeting. - Advertising
The GRC provides members with special pricing for full color advertising in the Chamber’s monthly tabloid in The Valley Independent. The GRC also offers sponsorship and advertising opportunities in the Chamber Chatter. Members only Comcast Spotlight Program can give your business an easy and affordable way to advertise on the television networks your customers are watching. - Referrals
The GRC encourages members to patronize other members and support surrounding communities and businesses. - Networking Opportunities
Membership meetings, socials, outings, etc. are great ways to meet contacts and promote awareness of your business/organization. - Workshops
Opportunities to attend GRC sponsored or co-sponsored seminars, workshops, and programs for you and your employees. - Education Program
The GRC established a scholarship fund for students attending Westmoreland County Community College, Douglas Education Center and California University. - Founder’s Day Dinner
An outstanding business individual is recognized at this annual dinner. - Golf Outing
The GRC hosts an annual golf outing fundraiser to benefit the educational programs. This event offers sponsorship and advertising opportunities, as well as a fun day on the course. - August Fun Fest
The GRC continues to co-sponsor this annual event at Cedar Creek Park. - Light up Night
The GRC continues to co-sponsor this event and provide “goody bags”, treats and activities for the children that attend. - Island Beautification Project
The GRC maintains the island on Rt. 201, which provides another great advertising opportunity to member businesses.

- Small Business - $125.00
- Regional Corporation - $175.00
- National Corporation - $250.00
