Valley First Community Federal Credit Union has been serving members in Monessen and surrounding communities for 73 years. Located at 815 Schoonmaker Ave. in Monessen, the credit union was established in 1935 for employees of Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen. In 1986 and again in 2001, the charter was expanded to provide service to a greater geographic community.
