Golf Outing
The GRC hosts an annual golf outing to benefit the scholarship program. This event offers sponsorship and advertising opportunities, as well as a fun day on the course. The golf outing is held at Cedarbrook Golf Course. The event features a continental breakfast, shotgun start, lunch, buffet dinner, awards, and prizes. Hole in One prizes have included a Diamond Ring compliments of Mar-Bill Diamonds & Jewelry, a Kawasaki motorcycle and Kawasaki quad compliments of Angels World of Cycles.

The weather didn't stop our golfers from having a great day on the links. Nearly 70 golfers participated in the annual GRC Fall Classic Golf Outing. The Fall Classic is the major source of funding for the GRC Scholarship Program. The GRC proudly supports future business owners and community leaders by providing 3 scholarships to students in our service area attending Westmoreland County Community College, Douglas Education Center and California University of PA. We are able to continue this program annually through the generous support of our Fall Classic sponsors, donors and golfers.
The golfers enjoyed coffee and donuts, compliments of Dunkin Donuts, lunch and beverages, buffet dinner, mini massages, compliments of Chaney's Natural, golfer gift bags, door prizes and great raffle prizes. Thanks to wonderful hole-in-one sponsors, golfers had the opportunity to win a $10,000 shopping spree from MarBill Diamonds and Jewelry, a Polaris Sportsman ATV from Angels World of Cycles and a Kawasaki motorcycle from Big's Sanitation/Big's Trucking. Great raffle prizes were provided by Highway Appliance, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Jenneifer Jones – ThirtyOne Gifts and Sabika, MarBill Diamonds and Jewelry, Tara Jurcyzk – Stella & Dot, Bill's Golfland, and Kim Redman - Natural Cosmetics.
The three top finishing teams received plaques and skill prizes were awarded as well. 1st Place honors went to Dr. Brian Rudolph, Frank Indof, Henry Fitz, Dan Proch. Second Place, Rostraver Shop-n-Save, Brandon Duritza, JP Bevec, Chris Kramer, Tom Trenk and Third Place honors to Waddell & Reed, Jeff Mendola, Frank Uglik, Joe Osborne and Jake Cuthbert.
