Snoballs Hair and Tanning Salon
The GRC welcomed Snoballs Hair and Tanning Salon with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 29th. Snoballs located at 952 Rostraver Road, BV is owned by Nina Stobaugh and was previously located on Rt. 88 in Lower Speers.
Nina and her staff invite you to call for an appointment – 724-930-8888. Snoballs is open Tuesday – Friday 10:00 to 8:00, Saturday 9:00 to 3:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 3:00 and offers full salon services and tanning.
Snoballs is also a member of the Mon Regional Chamber of Commerce. Welcome Nina and staff to the Greater Rostraver area!

Serendipity Tea Room & Café
The GRC welcomed new member Serendipity Tea Room & Café to the Chamber with a ribbon cutting on Friday, June 18th. Serendipity Tea Room & Café is owned by Piper and Don Pieri and is located at 127 Speer St., Lower Speers. The Tea Room is open for lunch 11:00am to 3:00pm Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Tea Room is the perfect place for bridal & baby showers, princess birthday parties and tea parties. Serendipity has an extensive lunch menu featuring homemade chicken salad, homemade soups and a variety of fresh salads. The scones and desserts are worth a visit alone!

Pollock Run Bridge
The Pollock Run Bridge, located on Rt. 201 in Rostraver Township was officially reopened on Thursday, June 17th. The bridge has been closed since February.
Thursday’s reopening of the bridge was a welcome relief to many residents and businesses in the area who endured the inconvenience of having to travel Vernon Drive or Route 136 to and from West Newton.
State Rep. Ted Harhai noted that the bridge was completed under budget and two months ahead of schedule.

Cup O’ Jo’s
Cup O’ Jo’s recently celebrated its grand opening. Located on Rostraver Road in the Sweeney Shopping Plaza (formerly Donuts+) the bakery is open seven days a week from 5 am to 6pm, offering full breakfast and lunch menu, as well as fresh daily donuts and pastries. Decorated cakes are made-to-order. Homemade pierogies are available by the dozen to go.

Tri County Tires & Rims
The GRC welcomed Tri County Tires & Rims (formerly Tri County Muffler & Brakes) with a “grand re-opening” ribbon cutting. Tri County Tires & Rims, owned by John and Wendy Anderson, is located at 171 Finley Road, Belle Vernon.
Tri County Tires & Rims handles tires, oil changes brakes, exhaust and minor auto repairs. Walk-ins are welcome or call 724-243-3261 for an appointment.

A ribbon cutting was held on 3/17/10 to welcome Xstream Clean to the GRC. Armory Locksmiths
The GRC welcomed Armory Locksmiths with a Ribbon Cutting on 1/14/10. Armory Locksmiths is located at 1743 Rostraver Road, Belle Vernon and is owned by Greg Lavander and Craig Bonari. Armory Locksmiths offers a full selection of safes for guns, fire and home. Camera surveillance systems, stun guns and Mac products are offered in addition to engraving and trophies. The locksmiths are licensed, bonded and insured and offer all locksmith services including commercial and residential lock work.
